Kirby Farris is the managing partner of Farris, Riley & Pitt, LLP, and has been committed to pursuing justice for those who have been injured or killed due to personal injury for over two decades. He specializes in representing victims of personal injury and Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) cases. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Farris worked as a laborer in the Maintenance of Way department at Norfolk Southern Railway Corporation, where he witnessed the detrimental effects of workplace injuries on railroad workers. He has also been designated as Designated FELA Counsel for the Transportation Communications Union, a distinction that reflects his dedication to helping injured railroad workers. Mr. Farris received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Alabama and his law degree from Birmingham School of Law, and later served as an associate professor at the school. He established his law firm in 1997 with the support of his legal peers in Alabama.
