David Martin is a labor and employment attorney who specializes in litigation. Before starting his own firm, he was a labor and employment partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP. He has extensive experience in first-chair trials and arbitrations and has successfully obtained dismissal through motions for summary judgment in state court, federal court, and arbitration. He has also successfully convinced opposing counsel to have their clients voluntarily dismiss their claims with prejudice after outlining the obstacles to recovery.
Mr. Martin helps employers and businesses defend against wrongful termination, harassment, and discrimination claims, and has significant experience representing clients in class action and representative actions, including wage and hour, PAGA, and FCRA cases. In addition, he advises businesses on how to avoid litigation by providing day-to-day guidance on human resources issues. He is a former Governing Board Member of the Irvine Valley College Foundation and has served as the Co-Chair of Astounding Inventions.
